Novaseal's products consists of three basic groups of products:

• Proprietary Pulse-type Heat Sealers
• Wedge Welders
• Custom Application Heat Sealers

Through its private labeling agreements, Novaseal has been providing quality heat sealers since 1985.  Originators of base-pressure wedge welding, Novaseal got its start with a revolutionary design of the GT-100 Hand-Held Wedge Welder and GT-200 Wheel-Mounted Wedge Welder.  ASTM specifications were modified over ten years ago to permit use of wedge welding to seal nonwoven textiles along with conventional plastic materials. 

  Novaseal, through its rich engineering design and automation experience has produced a wide range of custom application heat sealers using ultrasonic, pulse-type sealing and heated platen/die sealers for high speed production of packaging machinery (food, pharmaceutical and novelty), rotary wedge welders, as well as hot knife cutting machines (belts, plastic sheeting) among countless other applications. 

In 2003, Novaseal invented a new process to heat seal materials.  It uses a proprietary patent pending pulse-type heat sealing method to urge heat into two or more layers of material.  The technology is applied using strong heavy-duty poster press type bar sealers and has been configured in 1-meter increments from the popular Table-Top Heat Sealer (1-meter) to large wide format 7-meter heat sealer.  In January 2008, Novaseal introduced the first high speed fully automatic poster pocketing and heat sealing machine for heat sealing PE/Plastic.  Known as the QUAD, the machine is, perhaps, the fastest in the industry, capable of producing 4 posters per minute, each measuring  12-ft by 24-ft or larger.

During the past several years Novaseal has developed an impressive line of options.  Many of these options can be added as the customer needs them, and they can be added at your location without returning the equipment to be upgraded.  Options provide ease of use for applications including drapery, awning, signs, banners, posters, billboards and industrial applications.

In addition to an advanced heat sealing technology that can be used to heat seal materials, the Pulse-type technology can be used to seal virtually all materials (vinyls, PE/plastic, polyurethane, polyester, acrylic, nylon, etc.), without color distortion, deformations, or voids and with cycle times faster than almost any other technology in the industry.  Another feature is the price ... machine costs are significantly less than competitive technologies.
