Introduced nearly 20 years ago, the GT-100 Wedge Welder has been used by thousands of installers/companies to seal virtually all synthetic materials.  GT-100 is often referred to as an "HDPE Welder" since it is one of the easiest welders to use for HDPE  To prove its versatility, we have produced several videos.  Vol. 1 features vinyls, vinyl meshes, polyurethane, HDPE belting material, truck tarps, sign & banner materials, drapery materials, lightweight, heavy weight and medium weight materials.  Vol. 2 features various synthetic non-woven and woven textiles.  To view the video, click the arrow at the center of the image below.

Novaweld-branded GT-100 Wedge Welder with Carrying Case & Accessories

Another video.  GT-100 is most commonly used to heat seal HDPE, vinyls and other plastics.  Less known, but very effective, is wedge welding geotextiles.  We suggest using our GT-200 Wheel Mounted Walk Behind Wedge Welder for large projects, however many of our clients have also used the GT-100 for geotextile welding as well.  In the video below, the GT-100 is used to weld a nonwoven polypropylene geotextile.
