Automatic PocketMaker

Automatic PocketMaker is one of two methods used to make pockets or hems.  PocketMaker is automatic whereas the PocketFormer is manual.  Automatic PocketMaker is limited to producing pockets of a length less than or equal to the sealing length of the machine.  PocketFormer length is unlimited.

PocketFormer

PocketFormer is a manual option used to hold a pre-folded pocket prior to and during heat sealing process.  PocketFormer includes adjustable pocket depth feature.  Advantage of the PocketFormer over the PocketMaker is that PocketFormer is not limited to overall pocket length.  For example, a PocketFormer on a 120/126-inch seal length machine can be used to form a 200-inch seal length, whereas an automatic PocketMaker on a 120/126-inch seal length will only work with a pocket seal length up to 120/126-inch length.  PocketFormer video shows PocketFormer installed on Expandable Pulse Sealer used to make a pocket on polyester shade material.
