PocketMaker Options

Novaseal provides several options for making pockets and hems.

Masking Tape.  A benefit of Novaseal technology is that folded areas held down with paper based masking tape permit the pulsing heat to seal the sign & banner material without damaging or discoloring the held down material.  Simply add masking tape, seal, and easily remove masking tape for a high quality seal.

Magnetic Table Option.  Another way to produce pole pockets is by using bar magnets at various locations to hold-down the sign & banner material.  If elected, this option replaces front and rear aluminum sealing tables with zinc-plated tables.  This option can not be used when making hems, but works great for pole pockets and overlaps and is upgradeable.

PocketMaker Former Option.  Removable option added to the rear (or front) table.  PocketMaker includes an adjustable folding mechanism with alignment guide to assure consistent overlap over the length of the machine.  Also works well when feeding new material.  PocketMaker can be used to create varying depth pockets, from 2-inches to 6-inches.  For pockets less than 2-inches, hemming attachment is required.  Hemmer attaches to the top sealing bar such that when the top sealing bar is energized and starts its downward travel, the PocketMaker is pushed away. PocketMaker without Hemming attachment option can be upgraded later; however if hemming is needed, PocketMaker with Hemming attachment option must be purchased with machine.

PocketMaker Folder Option.  Fully automatic option uses vacuum and pneumatically activated rotational device to fold material to form a pocket.  When electing this option, specify pocket depth.  Hemming is not available with this option.  This option is not upgradeable onsite.  View animation.
