As a Dukane Corporation OEM, Novaseal integrates the best in ultrasonic engineering excellence for the best quality in ultrasonic cutting. Through a technology joint venture with Raytech Concepts, a leading Australian engineering firm with nearly thirty years experience developing innovative cutting technologies, Novaseal’s first Raytech product is a fully manual operated lower cost fabric cutter. With the best components comes the best products. Combining the best with a focus on American manufactured products, Novaseal offers two Cutting Table products for precision cutting industrial fabrics used in the manufacture of shades, banners, posters, etc.
Our cutting table product line up now includes:
- UltraFast automatic ultrasonic cutting table featuring high speed ultrasonic cutting technology developed by USA-based Dukane Corporation. The UltraFast automatic ultrasonic cutter is capable of variable speeds to cut virtually all industrial fabrics used to make shades, banners, posters, etc. Our cutting speeds at 20 KHz frequency is significantly faster than our competitors using 30-40 KHz frequencies. Adding long lasting carbide tipped ultrasonic horn and cutting anvil provides for two cutting modes … high speed or a bit slower beveled cut. Horn and anvil move independently of each other so that the fabric remains stationary. Other features include full width Squaring Arm with automatic programmable measurement drive, precision alignment, easy roll loading with feed drive rollers, touchscreen PLC controls, pneumatic air pressure controls, single phase 220 VAC operation.
- BasicManual is a manually operated cutting table featuring Raytech’s proprietary bi-directional blade/inlay rotary scissor cutting method suitable for cutting most industrial fabrics including sunscreens.
According to the developer, Chris Hart states that “the action of pulling the blade across ensures it rotates against the inlay. Our method is an improvement over crush cutting in that we’re able to cut thicker fabrics easier and with excellent edge quality. Additionally, cut quality surpasses any knife cutting method.”
Other features include bi-directional cutter (cuts in both directions), full width Squaring Arm with magnifier on tape, stainless steel fabric feed rollers, and operates without power and without pneumatic air pressure. The BasicDrive cutting table uses pneumatics to drive the bi-directional rotary scissor cutter.
