GT-100 is the only hand-held wedge welder!  Used for production, maintenance, and patchwork.  Lightweight, easy to use.  Simple technology … impossible to jam.  Maintenance-free. Made in USA.

Works great with all thermo-plastic materials including:  woven and non-woven synthetic textiles, HDPE, PVC plastics, vinyls, nylon, polyurethanes, polyester, Hypalon, etc.  Creates 2-inch seam width.  Seals fast … Up to 50 feet per minute (15 meters per minute).  And significantly faster on some materials. Available as 120 VAC (with plug) or 220/240 VAC (without plug).  Temperature controlled with infinite adjustment. Uses pure Nickel wedge for high temperature delivery without wedge degradation. Nickel wedge is chemically stable and assures that there are no carbon deposits (voids common with other wedge welders) in welded seam. And, unlike with many of our competitors, our wedges never need to be replaced.

GT-100 is shipped complete with metal carrying case, silicon roller, stainless steel brush accessory, users manual and DVD instructional video.

Introduced nearly 20 years ago, the GT-100 Wedge Welder has been used by thousands of installers/companies to seal virtually all synthetic materials.  GT-100 is often referred to as the Universal Wedge Welder or as a “HDPE Welder” since it is one of the easiest welders to use for up to 2.5mm thick HDPE.  To prove its versatility, we have produced several videos.  “Seals Everything, Vol 1″ video features vinyls, vinyl meshes, polyurethane, HDPE belting material, truck tarps, sign & banner materials, drapery materials, lightweight, heavy weight and medium weight materials.  “GT-100 Geotextile Demonstration” video illustrates using the GT-100 to seal nonwoven geotextile materials.

During the Gulf Oil Spill in 2010, Novaseal’s GT-100 was used to heat seal HDPE and vinyl coated fabric containment booms.
