One machine. All thermoplastics. Across industries that demand consistent output, long seams, and reliable production at scale.
Packet Welding™ technology is designed to heat seal thermoplastic materials across a broad range of industrial applications, including vinyl, polypropylene, polyester, coated fabrics, laminated materials, recycled-content substrates, and many emerging vinyl alternatives. From long architectural seams to production-scale covers, containment products, pouches, liners, and specialty fabricated assemblies, Packet Welding gives manufacturers a flexible platform for sealing more materials with greater consistency and fewer process limitations.
Each application hub covers common materials, seam requirements, welding methods, production considerations and relevant Novaseal® equipment.
Featured Application Note
A recent Packet Welding™ seal evaluation demonstrated that an offset overlap can position both reinforced cut edges inside the sealed area. This eliminates the exposed thread-wicking pathways left by a conventional overlap.
Because edge enclosure is created during the original welding cycle, welding tape applied solely to cover the exposed edges is no longer required. The result is less material, one fewer welding operation, reduced labor, and no secondary tape bond to inspect or maintain.
Packet Welding™ allows manufacturers to move between thermoplastic materials without changing sealing hardware, helping reduce equipment duplication, simplify production planning, and support broader material flexibility from a single heat-sealing platform.
Send us your material and application requirements. Novaseal® can evaluate your substrate, develop starting parameters, and help determine whether Packet Welding™ is the right fit for your production process.
Whether you are sealing vinyl, polyester, polypropylene, coated fabrics, recycled materials, or a new thermoplastic substrate, Novaseal® can help evaluate the best Packet Welding™ system for your application.
