Packet Welding was used to heat seal a variety of reinforced vinyl materials provided to us by Juan Escobar of Plastextil S.A. Scrim-pull test used to assure seal quality.
Instead of overheating the surface, Packet Welding gives the vinyl time to absorb and spread the heat naturally into the overlap and scrim. Using this method Packet Welding seals from the inside out so the bond line is fully fused without burning, discoloration or distortion.
