Nearly 8 years after developing the first pulse sealer, our engineers developed the second generation of pulse sealing known as Puls2™. This latest technology has been implemented in all Novaseal® branded pulse sealers purchased since 2014. Pulse count has been increased substantially making Puls2™ technology the first of its kind to qualify as a low frequency modulated heat sealing technology. With a multitude of smaller packets of heat energy, virtually all materials absorb heat energy at a similar rate. “Puls2™ technology produces better seals with less heat,” said Glenn Lippman, President and CEO of Nova Products Mfg., Inc. and inventor of the patent pending technology,  goes onto say, “Cooler sealing means heating elements last longer, no color discoloration, less need for zone tape, less maintenance costs while producing higher quality stronger seals in less time than existing methods.”

Materials welded with Puls2™ technology include:  Clear Vinyls, ETFE ethyltetrofluoroethylene, Heavy Vinyls, HDPE high density polyethylene, Nylon, PE Plastic, Polyethylene, Polyester, Polypropylene, Polyurethane, PTFE polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), PVC, PVD polyvinyl fluoride, PVDF polyvinylidene fluoride, Shade Cloth, Vinyl-laminated polyester, Vinyl-coated mesh, Vinyl-coated polyester, Vinyl-coated polyester/cotton, Vinyl-coated Teflon, Vinyls, and others yet to be developed.  All of the materials listed do not require sealing tape for welds up to 1-1/2 inch in width by virtually any length.
